Bangladesh Imports Data

Bangladesh's top ten import partners accounted for around 64 percent of the total volume of import shipments in 2019. As top import partners in Bangladesh, China and India stayed. In reality, in 2020, Bangladesh most imported cereals and other vital goods from India to meet the domestic demand resulting from the Covid-19 pandemic.

Bangladesh imports mainly machinery, nuclear reactors, boilers, electricity appliances, staple fibres and iron and steel from China, according to the data of Bangladesh's imports. The trade data in Bangladesh reveals that most wheat & meslin, semi-finished iron or non-alloy steel products and motor vehicles were imported from India for the transport of goods.
